To help our Mom bury our Dad

As most know, our Dad had been ill and past away yesterday on Christmas Eve. Our Mom lost the love of her life, her best friend, her life partner in that moment. After he was laid off work and was put on disability, they tried getting life insurance but since he was never diagnosis with a name to the illness he was suffering from, insurance was never ontained because either they were denied or the price was not affordable. With that being said, my parents struggle every month to make their bills on their ss income as it was but now that my Dad is gone that leaves just Mom's income. Since they did not have life insurance for Dad or a rainy day stash, we are trying to help our Mom pay for the funeral expenses that will occur and if anything left after that to help our Mom figure out her next move while she is grieving.

I know its the holidays and money is tight for everyone but i am asking if anyone has anything to spare to please do so. I speak for my family when i say anything is appreciated.
