This fundraiser is for Mystique (Mystie), my 5 year old cat. Last night, I came home to find that she had gotten her breakaway collar snagged on her cat tree, and unfortunately the collar did not break away like it should. The tree fell on top of her, and I don’t know how long she had been stuck underneath it being choked. She had been scared enough by the situation to urinate all over herself, so after I gave her a bath, she stayed with me in a crate overnight while I kept an eye on her. In the morning, I tried to give her some water, and she threw up what looked to be blood, so I took her to the closest Easy Vet. Upon hearing the situation, Easy Vet told me to take her to the emergency vet, where I sit now writing this fundraiser. At the moment, they’re unsure of her diagnosis, whether or not she has internal bleeding, or any other damage from the trauma. The below photo is an estimate of the full cost for her initial treatment to figure out a diagnosis.
I currently don’t have the financial ability or resources to afford this situation. The most funds I will have access to are financial aid funds I will receive sometime in the next month, but I don’t know when that will be, and it still won’t cover the full amount. I am worried for Mystie’s future if I can’t afford the cost for her treatment. She’s only 5, and she has a sister at home waiting for her. I just need as much help as I can get, for her sake.
