Ashley’s Family

I’ve created this GoFundMe for my cousin Ashley Grant. 

She is the daughter of Ricky and Patricia Simmons from Spencer, TN. 

The purpose of this GoFundMe is to help with funeral expenses, medical travel, and living expenses.

On Saturday, November 19, 2022, Ashley and her children went through something no family should ever have to go through. The family of 5 was headed to their annual Thanksgiving dinner with family, when they were involved in a tragic accident. Ashely’s husband unfortunately passed away on the scene. Ashley is currently suffering with multiple broken bones and of course just a broken heart. While all three children were injured, Ashley’s eldest is still in the ICU as we speak. He has very long road to recovery and will need to remain in the ICU for an extended amount of time, we are unsure of his recovery date.

We as a family are doing everything we can do to help Ashley cover all of these expenses, but as you know, the prices of everything has gone up dramatically. Ashley’s husband did not have any type of life insurance or burial insurance, so she will have to pay for his entire service out of pocket. We are also all traveling back and forth to Knoxville almost daily to be with her eldest son. If anyone is able to help Ashley’s family in any way, please do so. We understand that money is tight for most everyone, especially around the holidays. Any and all help is so so much appreciated. Thanksgiving and the holidays will absolutely never be the same for our family. If you aren’t comfortable donating, or sharing, please just pray for our family.

Pray for Ashley who just lost her husband and who now has to learn to live without him.

Pray for family while they grieve, but still have to remain strong for the kids.

Pray for Ashley’s eldest to make a full recovery and come home.
