Hi, for those who don' know, I'm Alex's Aunty Julie (Linda's Sister). And like most of you, I too struggle with how to help....no words are enough. First, I'm compelled to share how amazingly brave Alex has been through his horrific journey with cancer. Both as a 13 year old boy and a 28 year old young man and all the years in between. He has endured more than anyone ever should and done so with positivity, strength, relentless fight and grace. He is a courageous young man.

Every step of the way, Linda has been at his side...EVERY single step! Her amazing strength and determination to advocate for his medical care and comfort is unwavering. Thom has also been an amazing constant support for Alex, as well as for Linda. With that being said, the practical side of life still goes on and bills still keep pouring in, even though Linda has not been able to work. As I'm sure you all agree, her place is with Alex every minute of the day, so working is still not an option right now.

At this time, I humbly ask for any help you can offer to ease the burden both financially and emotionally. We are trying to lessen whatever burdens and worries we can at this time for them. The only focus should be giving Alex the best care and comfort possible. I realize things are difficult for everyone during this holiday season, and appreciate any help at all, no matter how small.

I know that Alex, Linda, Thom and our entire family feel the love from you all. Your kind words of comfort are what we lean on at this time. With deep gratitude, we THANK YOU ALL!!!
