Maggie's Brain Surgery
Donation protected
Update: Maggie came through surgery beautifully. Her vision has already improved. She should be fully up and around in four weeks.Hi, I normally would keep this private, but I have decided to ask for people's help because most of you know Miss Maggie. She has been working two jobs helping emotionally challenged children while going to school full time. She, unfortunately, has been diagnosed with idiopathic intracranial hypertension ( just like Mommy).
She knew she would have to go under surgery to have a shunt placed in her brain. We were hoping this was going to happen this summer when we both were off work and we were able to put money aside for the extra expense.
However, as of today she will be having to have the procedure as soon as possible to avoid any permeant damage to her vision or cognitive ability. She does not have short term disability and her recovery time falls outside her long term disability. I am personally humbly asking for anyone has the ability to send a few bucks to help Maggie until she can start back to work I know she would really appreciate it.
