One of our own needs our help..

I’m reaching out today to share the story of our friend and co-worker, Jenny Becker, who is in urgent need of our support. Jenny is a proud woman, and as most of you know, she would never ask for help on her own. However, she is facing a challenge that is too great to manage on her own.

As many of you know, Jenny began with what she hoped would be a transformation of her forever home – a renovation she had been saving months for. She hired a contractor and ordered cabinets and floors, only to discover a leak that led to an even worse finding: toxic black mold. This leak, which has likely been there for years, has spread throughout her bedroom walls, basement, chimney, and even to her foundation. Her exterior walls are crumbling, and essentially, she will need to tear down the back of her house. The cost to remediate the damage is astronomical, and unfortunately, her insurance company is dragging their feet. A private adjuster has said there is nothing they can do, and the mold removal companies are demanding thousands of dollars for help.

Jenny works incredibly hard, often taking on overtime, and covering shifts but this is a financial burden that goes well beyond what she can manage on her own.

I’m asking for your help in supporting Jenny through this difficult time.
