This fundraiser is on behalf of my aunt, Becky Gearhart, the mama of Eli & Albert Perez, father of Eli. Eli has been at Valley Children's Hospital since Sunday August 27th. He had a CT scan done of his head, they found a mass and fluid that had been building up in his brain. They took him right into surgery an placed a drain in his head to relieve pressure. The MRI the next day showed the mass was a brain tumor. He had brain surgery on Wednesday to remove it. Surgery went well and they kept him sedated thru the next day to do another MRI. Today, September 1st, they informed my Aunt Becky & Albert that some of the tumor is still in there. They got over 90% but have to go back in an do another surgery next Tuesday after he's rested for awhile. They believe this is a high grade tumor so they want to make sure they get it all as he will most likely need chemo therapy after all this. This has extremely overwhelming and hard for my aunt and her family to get thru this week but she’s very appreciative to everyone that has been helping and praying for them and Eli. This gofundme is to assist Eli's family with travel from Tulare to Valley Children's, and all other unknown and upcoming expenses this family will encounter. This will be a long journey for Eli and his family.
