Hello everyone,

My husband John and I have been through a very difficult and frightening medical emergency over the past few weeks.

John developed a very severe infection caused by a fistula, which led to sepsis and E. coli. Everything got serious very quickly and he had to undergo emergency surgery to remove part of his colon. He has spent a total of two weeks in the hospital due to complications and is now finally home and in recovery.

While we are thankful he is on the mend the medical bills are piling in and the financial strain has been overwhelming. Hospital costs, medication, time off work, as well as keeping up with mortgage, utilities, and groceries are taking their toll as we attempt to keep up.

John has always been someone who takes care of others and never asks for help but right now he truly needs it. Contributions will go to his medical bills and our basic living expenses while he heals. Any contributions would help us greatly and be very much appreciated. If you are unable to give we would love if you could simply share our story and keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
