Hi, my name is Oakley and I have set this Go fund me up to help Marty, Mary and their family with existing and upcoming medical expenses.

I’m reaching out to you today with a heavy heart to ask for your support for Mary Lane and her family, a dedicated and compassionate nurse who has always put others first. Mary has been a nurse for over 30 years working tirelessly to care for patients, has touched countless lives.

On the 2nd of July, Mary was taken to emergency at St Vincent’s hospital in Toowoomba for an MRI to understand what was causing the numb arms and severe pain in the neck and shoulders. After the results were in we were told Mary has a Brain Aneurysm and is lucky to be awake and conscious. With knowing the extant of her situation she needed to be flown to Brisbane for further testing and brain surgery. After many attempts the wind wasn’t on our side and a surgeon and nurse traveled to Toowoomba and collected her and took her to Greenslopes Hospital. After an over night stay there they believed her best option was to be transferred to Brisbanes Princess Alexander Hospital to under go more testing and then onto surgery.

If anyone knows this beautiful couple they would know these two have had one hell of a life. Including a horrific bike accident and Mary’s battle with breast cancer. Mary is a nurturing soul. Mary’s dedication is a true representation of her love and care for not only humans but animals as well.

With the skyrocketing medical bills and the days off work having to be taken. It is going to make their road to recovery that much harder.

I have started this Go fund me page to raise atleast $25,000 to help Mary and her family with her medical bills and recovery. Your donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in their lives. It will allow them to focus on her recovery and return to normal life that they love.

Mary is a truely remarkable person, and it breaks our hearts to see her struggling. We are asking for your support to help her through this difficult time and to ensure she can continue her vital role within our community and lives.
