Hi my name is Shannen Almonte and I’m 15 years old. I live at home with my mom and three brothers. My mom has colon cancer, ovarian, intestine cancer which led to her getting a colostomy which is explained in the video above. When you have a colostomy, the usual time to keep it on is 6 months. In order for the reversal surgery, the doctors have to do a Pet-Scan to be sure of the procedure. My mother’s insurance isn’t willing to approve of the Pet-scan which is horrible because she wont be able to reverse her colostomy. I want to raise $2500 so she can get her Pet-Scan in a few months for her to be at her best health. Considering this is her second time with fighting cancer, I want to make sure it wont come back for good. Please we need your help.
