Hello everyone, thank you for taking the time to read this post!

The long and short of it is that my husband lost his job earlier this year and I have been struggling to support three people, two cats, and one elderly ferret on one source of income. My job is very sporadic and doesn't guarantee income since it's more or less a gig job (I'm a petsitter), so we've dropped far behind on bills and we haven't been able to afford rent. This month is our last month of rent we will owe, then we are at risk of becoming homeless. We have a couple of options of places to go and move to, but we just don't have the funds to be able to make any kind of move without some help.

I have never liked having to ask for money, especially without the ability to pay it back, but we are at a breaking point. Anything you could possibly give would be a huge help to us, to get us a new place secured. Even if it's just enough to cover part of the UHaul, I would be incredibly grateful! Please don't feel pressured to donate if you are not in a comfortable enough financial place to do so, I don't want anyone putting holes in their own boat to come bail out mine!
