John Crawford

Hi, my name is Karen Fitzgerald McGuire. i am setting up this account for John Crawford and his family who are dear friends and former classmates from the Pauls Valley Class of 1973.

John has interstitial lung disease which is incurable after being exposed to cadmium while working at a refinery. He was admitted to Integris Hospital last Thursday in Oklahoma City. He has COVID pneumonia which has caused his condition to worsen. He is being tested to see if he is strong enough to be placed on a double lung transplant list which is his only hope of survival. The strength of oxygen he needs can only be delivered in a hospital setting and can't be provided at home. Therefore, he will be in the hospital for the indefinite future.
