My husbands name is Steven Guerrero (Bear) and he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in April 2018. The leukemia completely changed our family's lives since his diagnosis. He started inpatient chemo in April 2018 for 21 days and was able to get the cancer in remission. We then got to go home so he could do out patient maintenance chemo which kept his cancer in remission for 10 months, but unfortunately in Feburary 2019 the leukemia came back so back to UCLA we had to come. We are now being told after almost a month of being here at UCLA he has to have a bone marrow transplant. He will finish his regimen and do an out patient chemo for a few weeks and then come back to UCLA to get the bone marrow transplant. Once the transplant is completed he will stay in hospital till it is safe for him to live in there outpatient hotel which we will have to pay for if the insurance doesnt approve the stay. We will be there from a month and a half to as long as 2 to 3 months depending if there is any complications. Anything you can donate to help us would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, and may Gob bless you!
