On January 6th, 2025, Nick received the diagnosis of AML (acute myeloid leukemia) after months of fighting what he thought was pneumonia. Nick is currently undergoing chemotherapy at MGH and will receive a stem cell transplant soon after. Unfortunately, this will require months of hospital stays. My mom, thankfully, has been by his side every day, but that requires her to take a leave from work, and Nick will not be able to work for an unknown amount of time.
While Nick is in the fight for his life, money should not be something they need to worry about.
