Hi, this is David's wife's best friend. On Friday, Nov. 7th, David suffered a heart attack. He was hospitalized for 3 days, during which he found out he has 3 blocked arteries. His arteries were blocked at 70%, 80%, and the third was 100% blocked (which is what caused the chest pain that brought him into the ER). David underwent an angiogram where he got a stent put in the 100% blocked artery. He needs to go back in 4 weeks to get stents put in the other 2 arteries. After this procedure, he will have to do 3 months of a cardiac rehabilitation program.

David's job is physical labor; therefore, the doctor has ordered him off of work for a minimum of 4 months, assuming everything goes as planned. This puts a big strain on his household finances and is the reason I have created this. All funds received will help to pay for David's hospital bills and to supplement his household income during the next 4+ months while he heals and can get back to work.

He is home now and resting. We are so glad that this situation did not turn out worse. The family would like to thank everyone who has reached out with support and well wishes for David. He feels all the love.
