I’m raising money for my mother Kim (Dena Greear) Frazier, who was recently diagnosed with bile duct cancer of the liver. As a family, we were all pretty stunned because she doesn’t drink or smoke. She is one of those rare people who got this disease through no fault of her own. She did get a second opinion and the only treatment suggested was chemo to shrink the tumor which covers 75% of her liver! If they can shrink it enough with chemo they may be able to remove it surgically. However, the chemo is expensive, it’s about $8000.00/treatment, our part is just over $3,000.00 and that’s not including any of the other services involved. She is on a fixed income and copays on the treatments alone will be huge. Any money that is donated would be used to pay for her copays on treatments and her travel expenses. I want my mom around as long as possible. I haven't even graduated from university yet, gotten married, had children, etc. I want and need her around. There's so many milestones and things that a girl needs her mom there with her for. Moms are important people to everyone and are important to have around. If you could find it in your heart to to help, every little bit counts and would be greatly appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
