My cat Trixie is epileptic. She needs a normal annual checkup at her vet as well as addition tests and blood work. Due to a sudden and unexpected decline in health, I can no longer work and receive disability. This is barely enough to pay the bills, rent, and buy food. I cannot afford Trixie's vet bill right now and the vet will not refill Trixie's medication until she is seen.  As much as it breaks my heart to think about, I considered surrendering Trixie to a shelter or foster home. The responses I received when I called were disheartening. Several said they were full to capacity or unable to care for a special needs cat. 

Please help me save Trixie. Without her medications, she will have multiple seizures and likely not survive. This cat is my heart. I love her beyond the telling of it. Please help me. *Anything* will be appreciated.
