I'm a 52-year-old physically disabled father of a 31-year-old mentally disabled son who lives with me. I was laid off from my job of 8 years back at the end of June. Due to my muscular dystrophy and breaking my hip after a fall in May 2024, I am unable to walk and live the majority of my days in my recliner that is also my bed.

For the past months, I have been unable to find a job, which I'm very limited to which ones I can apply for. I have since run out of my little bit of savings I did have, as well as selling my car, and will not be able to afford my rent or any bills in general for February. All our bills, including food, are about $3 000 a month. Any amount you can offer will be greatly appreciated as I set this up as my last resort.
