To And From, Episodes 3 & 4

Donation protected

We are fundraising!

Our team is raising money to shoot our next TWO episodes fo To and From, which we plan to film in late July 2021!

To and From is an anthology-style web series from Kate Bailey and Flutter Brothers Productions. It was conceptualized in 2018 and the pilot episode was filmed in 2019, premiering at DWF2020 as an official selection last year. We shot Episode 2 during 2020 with a small crew, and we could not be more excited to get back to more ambitious filmmaking after the year we've all had!

Episodes 3 & 4 are both compelling and hilarious episodes!

“Terminal 1, Letter A”

Written and Directed by Kate Bailey

Rosa is having a bad day after missing her flight, but she finds a small amount of comfort through the other passengers in her pooled ride share.

“Meat the Parents”

Written by Matthew Gottlieb

Directed by Kyle Parr

In this political satire, when Tyler finally gets to meet Maureen’s parents, bodily harm finds him, but luckily there’s a Lyft driving by.

Each episode takes only one day to film, which keeps the budget low at around $6,000 per episode. Since each episode is stand-alone, we can film them individually as short films. Each dollar that we raise goes straight into production, covering costs such as studio rental, crew stipends, equipment, and food. The whole process from pre-production to festival submission is different for each individual episode.

Support on this project means the world to us!
