Hello everyone! I decided to start a GoFundMe after my dad and I started talking about everything that goes into a cancer diagnosis. Last December, mom was in the hospital over Christmas due to a mass pressing on her common bile duct. Fast forward, and last week after meeting with University of Iowa oncologists, we found out that the mass we thought was benign was actually stage 4 pancreatic and liver cancer. One thing we didn’t think about was hotel stays, copays, trips they’ve always wanted to go on, and the list goes on. Even if you can’t help, we appreciate any prayers (or vibes if you’re not the praying type) her way. Anything left over we are going to donate to cancer research.
