Help for the Fergusons

Sweet Amos Ferguson, not yet 2 at the time, got sick the second weekend of March. He could not get better and ended up at Children's for 9 days. While there, the doctors did their damnedest to try to figure out what was wrong with him. Eventually they thought they had it fixed and he was sent home. Yay! Right?... Well, he recently boomeranged back. And he's been back at Children's for several days again. They are not finding answers. They are doing all sorts of invasive testing, ruling out things left and right, and have put a feeding tube (back) in.  His sickness has lead to scary amounts of weight loss --up to 10% of his body weight (he's currently at a pound less than he was at his discharge from the hospital the first time). He will be leaving (at some point yet determined) with the feeding tube and it may be "permanent" which would require surgery. 

Christopher and Courtney are amazing parents and are doing so much to keep Amos feeling safe and loved while all this craziness goes on in and around him. They also have big sister Harriet to care for, and word is she is having a hard time with her family being turned upside down (who wouldn't?). With all this caring for the family and trying to just get their kid well, Chris has had to miss multiple full weeks of work and Courtney has also missed several. 

SO clearly this is all f'ing hard and we can only try to imagine what it has been like for Hattie, Amos, Courtney and Chris. If they had a bit of extra money to help them see this through, the added stress of missing out of work would at least diminish.
