Surgery Recovery Fund To Pay Bills

I feel very uncomfortable asking for help but I need it at this time. I’ve contemplated doing this but I’m lowering my pride and asking for help and would truly appreciate if you could assist me. Please don’t judge. It’s taking a lot to write this and ask for help. I’ve been going through a lot of health issues that most people aren’t aware of over the last 3 years. I had a mini stroke last year, been dealing with very high blood pressure issues, thyroid biopsies, umbilical hernia and hiatus hernia issues and most recently was involved in a car accident and was hit by someone else. I’ve been going to see numerous doctors, specialists, internists, surgeons etc for everything and the only income I’ve had during this time is my home business. To try and keep up with my monthly bills hasn’t been easy but what company would hire me full time if I’m constantly taking time off work for appointments. I didn’t expect for everything to be dealt with so far in the future and wasn’t prepared for this. It’s taken 3 years to deal with my umbilical hernia situation as the medical system is broken since Covid and FINALLY I’m having surgery this Friday October 18th after seeing the surgeon and waiting 11 months to get in to see him when it should have only taken 3-4 weeks to get me in for the cat scan to discuss surgery. My surgery was moved up as I’ve been waiting 3 years to have something done. I’m having open surgery NOT laparoscopic as I have two large holes in my stomach wall measuring 4cm and 5 cm in size. I’m considered as high risk due to my weight, age, blood pressure issues, breathing difficulties and sleep apnea. The surgeon is going to try and fix it without mesh as using mesh will cause me chronic pain for the rest of my life. He won’t know what to expect until he opens me up. I will need a minimum of 4-6 weeks to recover and will be staying at the hospital until I’m ok to go home again. As I am self employed, I will not be able to return working my home business until I recover . I’m nervous about this surgery but I’m looking forward to getting my life back after the surgery where I can finally look forward to working full time again & get back to my normal self. I need your help to allow me to pay for my bills and food as my business is by an order only basis, so I don’t need to stress and worry about that and focus on healing and getting myself better.
