Brothers of Gamma Kappa Sigma Nu and Friends,
As many of you know, Thomas Virgin (GK 1861), or "TJ" to us, was killed in a plane crash while on a business trip in Akron, OH on 11/10/15.
TJ leaves behind his wife, Andrea, and their 4-month old daughter, Victoria.
The purpose of this crowdfunding effort is to raise $2000 to purchase a bronze memorial plaque at the Sigma Nu Chapter House in Boulder. http://www.sigmanuboulder.com/buffalo-memorial/
The remaining balance will go toward a College Fund for Victoria Virgin.
The tentative date for the memorial plaque dedication will be 9/10/16 prior to a CU football game.

2. Where you're from: Denver, CO
3. Your relationship to the parties you're raising funds for: I was a college roommate, fraternity brother and close friend of recently deceased Thomas "TJ" Virgin. I know his widow, Andrea Virgin and their 4-month old daughter, Victoria Virgin.
4. How the funds will be spent (be specific as possible): The first $2,000 will go toward a bronze memorial plaque for TJ at our fraternity house at the University of Colorado at Boulder. (http://www.sigmanuboulder.com/buffalo-memorial/)
All of the remaining funds will be sent to a trust that is being set up by the Virgin family for Victoria Virgin's college savings account.
5. How you intend to get the funds to those in need: I will cut a check for $2000 to the Sigma Nu (Gamma Kappa Chapter) account to cover the cost of the plaque. I will then cut a check/transfer with all of the remaining funds to the trust account being set up by the Virgin family for Victoria's future college tuition.
