Prostate cancer surgery for my dad

My Dad moved to the USA legally, November of 2014, from Greece to be closer to his kids and granddaughter.   After taking him to west Houston community center and getting a checkup, his blood work showed his PSA levels were too high. The Dr recommended him to go see a urologist. On July 24th my Dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer. The only option for him is to have surgery and radiation treatment. Unfortunately the health care here in America is not very easy to get for people who move here from another country at an elderly age and have a pre existing condition such as cancer.  I have applied for assistance from the government but they have been of no help thus far.  My dad is trying to sell his house in Greece to help pay for the medical bills but, Greece is going through some very bad financial times and nothing is selling right now.

He is an amazing father, husband and grandfather. I know that the people in this country are the best people in the world with a big heart and help one another. Please help my dad get the treatment that he needs. Thank you so much I will forever be grateful.
