Hi, my name is Shawn Morris, and I’m writing this with tears in my eyes. I’m starting this fundraiser for one of my best friends and coworkers, Jeff, who recently received devastating news.

Jeff was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that has metastasized to his liver, and possibly to his lungs. He also has small shadows on his kidneys and a mass on the left side of his ribs. His oncologist shared that the cancer is not curable, and that treatment will only help prolong his life and improve his quality of life for as long as possible.

If you know Jeff, you know he’s one of the kindest, most selfless people around — humble, caring, and always there to help others. He doesn’t even know I’m doing this, but I couldn’t just stand by without trying to help. I want Jeff to feel the love and support of everyone whose life he’s touched.

I’ve worked with Jeff for over five years, and we talk almost every day. He’s more than a coworker — he’s family to me. I’m working with one of his close friends to organize this fundraiser, and any amount you can give will make a difference — to help with his treatment, comfort, and peace of mind during this incredibly hard time.
