Today July 26 2015 my heart is truly broken.  I heard  a loud knock at my door.  I open the door and the chaplain from Bossier City Fire Dept greeted me.  He the told me that my daughter Carissa was in an accident.  I got the worse news that a father could ever want  to hear, that his daughter was shot and is in critical condition. My heart broke and it pains me that my baby girl is critically injure.  Memories of her rush back to my mind. I have watch her grow from a little girl into a beautiful young woman full of life and so much to live for.  I would trade places with her in a heart beat to take this burden for her.  She was taken to LSU Health Hospital in Shreveport were she taken to Neuro SICU. The doctor said the the bullet pass through her temple and came out the other side.  She might be partially or completely blind from the injury.  She has some mobility in arms and legs.  She is young, strong and a fighter.  I hope and pray that she will come through this and a have a normal life as possible. I believe in the power of prayers and positive thoughts  will make a big differences in her recovery.

  So I ask that everyone please have positive thoughts and lots of prayers for her recovery and health. I humbly come to you for your help. I would greatly be appreciated if you could donate something to help with the coming medical expenses and her future needs.
