Kady (the pup) needs our help!
My friend Tessa loves her pup, Kady, very, very much.
She adopted her from the Milo Foundation at 8 weeks and they have been inseperable every since. They do everything together... hiking the Oakland hills, strolling in the park, and visiting with lots of friends (of the human and dog variety!). And Miss Kady never, ever complains - even on those long drives to Vancouver!
And she likes to climb trees... seriously. She'll sometimes go straight up to 8 feet! Usually chasing the sworn enemy of dogs, everywhere... squirrels. She's a regular billy goat. Except that she moo's like a cow. Especially when she has to poop.
Tessa likes to think that Kady calls her mom "The Chicken Lady" because she always makes Kady special chicken soup. She's totally the spoiled grandchild!
Unfortunately, Kady has melanoma and won't be around much longer without our help. It is in her gums, and she only has 2 months left with Tessa - unless...
With just 4 rounds of targeted radiation, they will have a lot more time together. This treatment costs $2500 and as a working artist, Tessa could sure use our help.
Please, please give anything you can. Let's keep Kady with us as long as possible. She's such a good dog. And Tessa's such a good mommie.
