Samson is our one and a half year old golden retriever. He recently became very sick from eating a part of a rope toy. It made its way into his stomach and became stuck in his intestines. The veterinarian did x-rays in order to see this, which cost $2,000. After seeing that Sammy had a rope in his stomach they went in and did a gastroscope to hopefully get the rope out through the mouth. This cost an additional $2,000. The procedure was unsuccessful. He then needed to have a gastropexy that included cutting his stomach and intestines open to retrieve the rope. If Sammy hadn’t had this surgery his stomach would have continue to fill with air and twist itself, which would have caused death. We have done the surgery, and now he is in recovery but has left us with 8,000 dollars of debt. He is doing better, but is still at the vet and needs a feeding tube and intravenous antibiotics. Could you please help us continue to care for Sam? You can do this by donating through this Go Fund Me link. Every little bit helps! Thank you for taking your time to read and to help our Samson! He is everything to me and my husband Jacob.
