Molly’s ACL Surgery

This is our fur baby Molly….. she is ten years old and the heart of our home. Last week she tore her doggy ACL and she needs surgery to repair it. She is not just our pet, she is our family.

During Covid in 2020 when the world was shut down my stepdad passed away. Molly was his best friend, and my mom’s fur baby. After he passed away, while we were all quarantined, it was my mom, Molly, and me. She helped us get through the most painful time in our lives. Molly was by my mom’s side 24/7, without her I don’t think my mom would have survived. Molly was and is her most memorable moments with my stepdad.

They went everywhere together, during Covid they spent all their time together, walking, going for car rides to nowhere since everything was shut down. But, the memories they made without knowing what little time they actually had left together is irreplaceable, just like Molly.

Now, Molly needs our help to live her life to the fullest.

The surgery she needs is expensive, between $2,000 and $4,000. But, with it she will live a long healthy life.

We aren’t the people who ask for help, but in this case we really need it to take care of our Molly.

My mom is a teaching assistant and does not have summer work this year. She is usually prepared for emergencies, but this last couple years have been rough and we have had some tough moments.
