Troy's Cancer Battle.

Hi Everyone!

I’m sure there are many people friends and associates workmates etc… who know Troy Ferguson and Liza.

We were told on the 31st of March 2022 that Troy had a Chondrosarcoma of the pelvis and sacrum incapsulated S1-S2 nerves that control the bowel and bladder, which causes left leg numbness and possible weakness.

This form of Cancer is so rare it doesn’t respond to Chemo or Radiation..

On the 19th of July 2022, Troy had his operation.

A 15 and a half hour surgery, 21 pints of blood, and remained in a Induced coma for 48 hours.

This followed with 3 weeks in hospital and a further 5 weeks in rehabilitation.

Troys tastebuds are continuously changing from medication and food that was previously made has been going to waste.

Cancer stops a lot of life’s functions, but notBills, Rent, Petrol and other costs of living.

Many people are aware by now that Troy is recovering from major surgery as a result of the removal of a large tumour in the base of his spine.

Anyone who knows Troy and Liza would realise they’re not the ones to ask for anything especially charity..

In fact the opposite, Troy and Liza have always been the ones to put their hands up to help all comers.

Troy having been the guiding light for many Juniors all the way through to seniors, in both disability Basketball and Football.

Troy is always the got to person if theirs an issue that needs to be addressed, be it for guidance or some advice or just a cuddle.

As we all know Cancer is a nasty disease and can take a long time to recover from.

Everyone has been supportive in a loving and kind manner, but due to the long term recovery and funds depleting rapidly whilst waiting for all the Red Tape to be finalised, we would appreciate any financial support for the helping and purchase of needed equipment, medications and general living expenses..

At present Liza has to do all of the caring for Troy, and work endlessly to help support for everything that comes with this type of obstacle in Troy’s life.

We would appreciate any type of donation to Troy and Liza to help ease the financial burdens and I’d appreciate it if everyone could please share.
