Hello.

My name is Gordon, I am 59 years old and have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I have been fighting diabetes for around two years and was getting ahead of it, I thought, until now.

I am now facing at least six months of chemo, radiation and finally surgery. I will be out of work for six to twelve months and have no idea where I will be after that.

I grew up with the joy of helping others where I could. In my early years of employment, I drove tractor trailer delivery for ten years and have worked in public transportation for 29 years. I have found it to be so rewarding to serve the children, the adults and most of all the elderly on a daily basis. But now I need to focus on myself. I thank you for listening and for your help.
