Hey friends, If you weren't aware, on Thurs July 26th I was struck by a car while riding my bike. The driver did not stop, and I suffered a broken clavicle and broken ribs. I'm scheduled for surgery to install a metal plate this Thursday 8/2.

At the time of the surgery I'll have already missed a week of work, and the doctor has informed me that I shouldn't work for another two weeks. I have no sick or personal days to use.

I'm struggling to make ends meet as it is, and this interruption in my income has already limited my ability to tackle my expenses. It's very hard for me to ask for this kind of help. The amount here will cover two months rent plus bills, various supplies, and repayments to a few generous, but also poor friends. I'm so appreciative for anything you can give.
