Support Rachel's Journey to Recovery

Hey folks, my name is Kaylee and I’m starting this on behalf of my younger sister, Rachel.
Rachel is 21 years old. She currently works at a local coffee shop and is a bridal stylist. Right before this diagnosis, she was pursuing modeling and even travelled to New York to meet with agencies. Rachel has always been a goofball, kind, hardworking, and caring.
A few months ago, we discovered Rachel has a cancerous brain tumor, called a Glial Neoplasm. This type of tumor is attached, for her, at the brain stem and has wrapped around the thalamus infiltrating healthy tissue, making it inoperable to remove.
About a month ago she had surgery to get a biopsy done and they installed a shunt to help elevate fluid pressure in her brain, which she will have forever.
We have recently found out the tumor is a pediatric glioma that is slow progressing and aggressive. She is starting radiation ASAP here in Spokane and potentially will have to do chemotherapy once we have more information. We know that she will need at least 33 radiation sessions, and because of the nature and placement of the tumor, multiple check in trips will have to be made to Seattle to meet with neurological specialists.
Throughout this process, Rachel has taken it like a champ and has kept up good spirits, which is commendable for being so young. Having to write this for my little sister, whom I love so much, is difficult. I want her to come out of this healthy and able to pursue her dreams.
The money raised through this would be to support travel expenses, medical bills, and to help support my family as we pivot based on what Rachel needs.
As more information is learned, I will update this story.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for listening and supporting my family.
