Hello, Pat O'Connell has lost his home to a fire, we are hoping to help him rebuild.

In the early hours of the morning of Sunday, Dec. 14, 2025 My father-in-law's house burnt down, he lost everything. His animals, his memories, perished in the fire..

He is newly retired, So this is going to be an extremely difficult situation for him. However, we are looking to help him rebuild in any way we possibly can. He has nothing, except the clothes on his back and what we scrounged together from family to get him by for the next little while..

We are doing the best we can to reach out to resources that are available in our area. This time of year is the worst time to have nothing.

(message from his Son) My father has always been extremely helpful and friendly towards those around him; he's always been selfless. The accident that caused him to lose his house and pets that were like family has left him more distraught than I've ever seen him before. The house he lost was in our family for generations; my grandfather built that house. There was so much more than just a house that was lost to us. Any support whatsoever is greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, our remaining family is small, and as a student, this situation is particularly challenging.

Our plan with the donations we receive is to help him cover the up front costs of finding a new home, replacing all of his belongings, and surviving day to day life.
