Help me get my house back

Hi my name is Margarita and I am trying to raise enough money to save my home from being foreclosed on. About 2 years ago I made the decision to move away from my home town with my three children and my dog. I had been suffering with mental health, sexual abuse and a separation from my children’s father. My goal and intention was to give myself and my children a better life and and a safer environment to live in.

I rented my home out to a family member so that I could still have access to what I worked so hard for. Since then, I have been denied access to my home and am now behind on my mortgage due to no payments being received and being forced to now have to file an eviction because they will not leave my home. Unfortunately due to the laws in NYS being in favor of tenants and not landlords, my hands are tied as far as what I can do and I have to wait out the process.

This last year has been financially difficult for me to survive in Florida alone with my 3 children due to inflation, and having no support with and for my children in order for me to work more to make more and catch up. Since May of this year, I have been trying to move back into my home to be closer to my business, my friends and Family that support me but due to the circumstances, I have been unable to. In June, I attempted to bring my kids to NY for the summer so that I could return to Florida and work as much as possible and catch up on what I’ve been behind on but upon driving from Florida to NY, my 2017 Acura MDX blew its transmission on me and left my children and I stranded in Maryland. My warranty had just expired leaving me stuck with no way of fixing my car and no way of transporting back to Florida. I was able to make it back in time to move out of the house that I was living in and attempt to move back home but again, I am being denied access. I have been homeless now since July 1st paying to stay in a motel. This is making it difficult for me to do what I need to do for myself and my children, especially with school starting, having no car and now having to wait out the eviction process to get my home back. I am now at risk of losing my home as of the end of this month because I am behind on payments and have been unable to catch up. All I am asking for is help to prevent losing my home so that once the eviction process is over, my children and I can have a home again. Faith has kept me striving and going but the truth is, I need help.
