So within the span of 3 weeks, multiple things have hit my family and me. I would probably say this really started back in August when Jobi's health started to take a turn, which resulted in heavy vet bills. He got better, thankfully, but that did not change the thousands of dollars I’ve put towards having medications compounded into liquids (and will have to continue doing), his multiple prescriptions I have to refill almost weekly, and tests to keep up with his health. He is again not feeling well, so we are battling that, on top of the fact that my health took a bit of a turn this month as well.

The icing on the cake is now me dealing with my father’s medical and other services being terminated, which results in losing extra income and adds a tremendous load back onto our shoulders while we try to figure this out. It has been hitting us hard in 2025, but we also just found out that we could possibly lose the house to old backed-up property taxes. I was told we had until April to pay them off; however, I was just told by another person that it must be paid in full by the end of October, or our home goes to auction in April, so I was given false information. Yes, you heard that right. We have all of 9 days to get the rest of this money together, or we will lose our house.

I am not one to normally ask for help or charity, but this has been devastating, and we are trying to keep our heads above water with medical bills, house bills, etc., and we’re drowning.
