Hello, I want to share a little about us and our backstory. My name is Jessica and this is my husband Bryan. 2023 was supposed to be amazing and yet so far it hasn't. We had to put my husband's service animal to sleep at the beginning of January due to a ruptured cyst on her spleen. She was our everything and she would have been 13 this year. It was so sudden and we were devasted. That hit us so much that since then it's been so difficult to stay positive and move forward. Losing her set us both back and we haven't fully recovered. My husband has anxiety & PTSD and I have anxiety and depression. We both are seeking therapists but we can't afford the weekly fee. We are on Oregon Health Plan but they do not take that insurance. My husband lost his job last December due to his disability and we've both been trying to find full-time work that doesn't cause additional stress and mental breakdowns. We've been struggling to pay our bills and rent since then, we've received help from friends & family, and our church which has been such a blessing but with rent due on the 4th of March we are desperate. With all of our expenses, we are about to lose our only vehicle and if we become homeless we won't even be able to sleep in it. We've tried 211, Community Action, Salvation Army, Oregon State, Findhelp.org and so many more we've lost count. Either they are out of appointments or funds. We are good people, we know with a little help we can finally get back on our feet again. We don't have a safety net and we are so incredibly tired of feeling defeated/stressed/worried/heartbroken ALL of the time! If you can help by even giving $ 5 or sharing our post we know that will help that so much. We haven't given up all hope but it's quickly fading away. We are looking for help with our rent, getting caught up on our car payment, past due bills and having some breathing room until we can find work. We truly thank you for reading and donating we truly are so grateful.
