Artist's studio

Dia dhaoibh go leir. My name is Natasha. I am an artist, actor and writer with an honours degree in Drama and Theatre Studies from TCD.

I have been creating art in many forms from an early age.

Over the past 13 years I've been raising my child and caring for my elderly parents. During this time I have been sporadically creating art including sketches in various media, writing poetry and pros and performing in amateur theatre.

Having experienced mental health difficulties over the years I find that creating art in any form is extremely cathartic and an important part of my healing journey.

My favourite medium for creating fine art is oils. Due to lack of space in my small, yet comfortable and cosy, home I have been unable to paint large oil pieces.

My aim is to paint scenes and people from my local area here in the west of Ireland and hopefully, in the future, sell my art and in so doing share my creativity, make a living and continue on my healing journey.

The aim of this gofundme account is to enable me to build an artist studio in my garden. It will be south and west facing so I will have plenty of natural light.
