Nelly Kicking Sarcoma

On Tuesday July 24th 2018 Penelope Noelle Byler age 2 was diagnosed with Stage 3 Rhabdomyosarcoma Cancer. She will be treated at UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh PA. This is a rare childhood cancer. On Friday July 27th 2018 she started her 1st round of Chemotherapy. She will be getting Chemotherapy weekly for 42 weeks, and starting at 13 weeks will also be adding in radiation weekly. There is a possibility she will still require surgery for her cancer, but the plan is that her body starts to responds to the treatments. Throughout this journey she will be having lots of traveling back and fourth to doctors appts, hospital stays, blood work drawn, bone marrow aspirations, PET scans, etc. Penelope is such a beautiful, heathy, amazingly bold, full of energy and just a pure bundle of joy. She is such a little country girl and absolutely LOVES riding her pony Charlie. Due to her illness, her parents have to take time off of work until further notice so that is leaving them without any form of income. We’re asking for donations to help with expenses, as well as any medical bills that insurance may not cover.
