The Emory & Henry College Department of Athletics has created a GoFundMe campaign to assist Coach Tommy Forrester with upcoming medical, travel and lodging expenses.

Tommy was admitted to Wake Forest Baptist hospital in Winston-Salem, North Carolina early last week after a mass was detected in his brain. Surgery was conducted on Friday, July 29 and the surgical team removed as much of the tumor as possible.

Once the official oncology report comes back, Tommy and his doctors will decide on a course of treatment. These treatments will likely include traveling to another hospital in a different part of the country to see a specialist for an extended amount of time.

Tommy is currently home in Abingdon and recovering from his surgery. He appreciates all the thoughts, prayers and messages on social media, but his responses will be limited for some time as he recovers.
