Hi my name is Ashley. I’m fundraising for my friends grandson Joey.

Kaiden Joe “Joey” is active, happy and rambunctious little 5 year old boy who is loved by not only by his family but everyone he meets.

On Thursday April 28,2022 after the on set of some brief symptoms Joey was seen at Childrens Hospital in St. Paul Minnesota. He was quickly diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma, an aggressive brain cancer that is inoperable. This diagnosis has stunned everyone in his life. His grandparents Melissa and Russ Anderson and Aunt Kailyn Anderson who raised Kaiden and his 6 year old Ella are trying to make sense of the truly tragic news.

I am asking for donations to help the family with both living and incurred medical expenses  during this time. So they care for Joey in the capacity he needs. They will need to transport him to specialists and treatments as this rapidly evolving situation requires both of them to provide care for the children. Russ will need be on leave which is unpaid.
