Hi, my name is Kevin, I'm 57 years old and just need a little help until I get back to work. I have an upcoming surgery on 10/6/25 for a type 3 hiatal hernia with bleeding Cameron ulcers. This has caused anemia & low iron levels. It's a 4 1/2 hour surgery, with a 6 week recovery period. I've been off work, receiving short term disability, since 6/28/25 and I'm falling behind on all my bills (including my mortgage). I was raised to do everything on my own, and absolutely hate asking for help, but don't know what to do. I appreciate you taking the time to read this, thank you for helping if you can.
