Help Ed go to the Veterans Wheelchair Games New Orleans 2024

Dear friends, family, and fellow supporters,
My name is Edwin Dunfee of Philadelphia, PA. I am a double amputee and also a proud disabled veteran, I have the incredible opportunity to participate in the National Veterans Wheelchair Games in New Orleans, Louisiana this summer. These games are not just about competition; they symbolize resilience, camaraderie, and the indomitable spirit of those who have served our country.
Navigating life in a wheelchair has its many challenges, but these games provide a platform for us to showcase our strength, determination, and unwavering commitment. From adaptive sports like basketball and pickleball to hand cycling and swimming, these events empower us to redefine our limits and celebrate our abilities as disabled veterans.
However, participating in the National Veterans Wheelchair Games requires financial support. The costs associated with travel, accommodations, equipment, and other fees can be overwhelming. Your contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant impact.
Please consider donating to my GoFundMe campaign. Your generosity will directly support my journey to the games, allowing me to compete alongside my fellow veterans and represent our shared resilience and our VA Philadelphia team.
Thank you for being part of this mission. Let’s make this dream a reality together. Click the link below to donate and share this campaign with others who believe in supporting our disabled veterans.
Donate to my National Veterans Wheelchair Games Fund. It is greatly appreciated!
With much gratitude, Edwin Dunfee
