I never thought I'd find myself in the position of having to ask friends for financial help, but, in the past 6 months,  life has taught me how very unpredictable it is!
I had to have unexpected open heart surgery on Jan 26th 2021 at Mayo Clinic in Jax, FL. A congenital heart defect (bicuspid aortic valve and resulting thoracic aneurysm) was discovered on a CT scan. I'm thankful  for good health insurance (not sure how much longer I can hang on to that due to cost) that has allowed me to get the care I have received. What I need help with is the accommodations costs related to the surgery in Jax. Me and my daughters had to stay for almost 4 weeks in Jax while I received surgery and waited to get the clearance to travel back to TN. I now have to go back to Mayo on Feb 28th and stay 2 nights in order to get my post surgery follow up tests. This should be my last trip to Mayo for a while. The cost of the stays while getting care at Mayo has been a true financial hardship. Of course, I am not working so my income has dropped off as well.  So I am truly in a bind and would appreciate any help to cover the costs of the accommodations. Thank you so very much!
