Dear Family and Friends,
I have launched this fund on behalf of Baby Carter Quiqley. Carter is extremely ill. He was born on May 15, 2020 and at 5 months old he only weighs 13 lbs. He is such a happy, bright and busy baby, but he is having tremendous difficulty ingesting and retaining formula of any kind for nutrition and growth. After months of doctor's visits, tests, trials and bouts of hypovolemic shock, the quest to find answers is imperative. Carter and his family live in Florida, but he and his parents are currently at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) for the second time. One of Carter's doctors at CHOP requested his immediate return after his initial visit, as time is of the essence.
Carter is the infant son of Patrick & Lindsey. I have known and loved Lindsey since the day she was born. Lindsey is the daughter of Debbie, who is one of my oldest and dearest friends. All of this led me to ask Carter's family if I may use social media as a way to help relieve them of some of the financial stress that must come with having a sick child. Everything is being done to figure out this medical puzzle, and everyone is so grateful for all of the medical professionals who are providing Carter with tremendous care.
I implore each and every one of you to please donate in order to take some of the stress away from this young family. The cost for Baby Carter's medical care is already incomprehensible. Every donation will go directly to his current and ongoing medical bills. I will continue to update you as information becomes available.
