DD totals Eric & Lucyy's cars

Eric and Lucyy were awakened to BOTH of their vehicles totaled out due to a drunk driver. Eric had full coverage insurance but owes more than the pay off. Lucyy's car was paid for. They had their first baby in July, and just moved into their first rental home in South Bend. He works in Elkhart, and now has no way to work. Due to someone's irresponsibility, driving drunk, they are facing a hardship that no one should have when starting a family and life together. Baby Ella's car seat was in Lucyy's car, which the trunk was pushed into. I am thankful that Eric was not in the car leaving for work this morning, as it could have been a call I never want to get. I am asking you to pay it forward to get a down payment for a different vehicle and pay for a rental until they find a car. If you are able, I would be so thankful. The car insurance doesn't cover a rental and I'm not sure how he will get back and forth to work. I am not in the position to help or I would do this without asking.
