Flood damage.

My wife and I have been living in our apartment for the last 4 years. The heavy rain on 01/22/24 caused the storm drains to back up and flood into our apartment complex. Elirose & the dogs were rescued by our neighbors and swam to safety. Our apartment was flooded up to 8ft of raw sewage water.

We unfortunately lost the majority of our belongings in the flood and the damages are irreparable. Our California renter’s insurance does not cover floods and we are without any compensation or relief. We are trying to find new living arrangements as soon as possible. Anything would help us during this sudden and unfortunate situation. We appreciate all of the thoughts and prayers from our family and friends during this difficult time.
