HELP NIGEL,HE HAS AN ENLARGED HEART & POSSIBLE BRAIN DAMAGE

Hi, my name is Dave & this is my cat Nigel who I love dearly.

He was a rescued cat from a house near me. He was the last one out from under the floorboards as he and his siblings' owner had died a few months prior so they lived off scraps of food a neighbour posted through the door ( this was in the papers under house of horrors ). When I found out about him I took time to get to know him & build his trust up & give him a home when he was ready.

Unfortunately recently on the way to the vets for a check up on his bad back out of the blue he had a very scary episode where he could not walk, stand or hold his head up properly all the time while crying. It was awful. I thought I was going to lose him. It broke my heart seeing him like that while I was powerless to help him.

Nigel was seen by the vets there and then who had seen it for themselves. They were extremely concerned it could be neurological. He had to be monitored and tested which took most of my savings but he is worth every penny.

He was referred to the North West Veterinary Specialists in Runcorn who want to do a full body MRI & Brain Scan on him plus blood tests and more but there is another problem before they can do an MRI they need to do a special type of heart scan to see if his heart can handle the sedative as my Vets & TNWS vets picked up on a galloping heartbeat which needs investigating first.

I have had a quote of £5000 for him for the scans to find out what is wrong with him even before any treatment, I have paid hundreds to the previous vets and a small deposit here but Idesperately need help to cover this bill even a little bit here and there will help buy Nigel & me time, I have sold pretty much all of my possessions to help this little boy as he means the world to me & id do anything for him so I need to raise as much as possible. I do work part time 2 days a week due to my own ill health I can not do more but I work non the less & its an uphill struggle to cover costs for Nigels care, I could never give up on him he trusted me from the start so I have to try do all I can to help him so please help me to help NIgel.
