Hi my name is Silas Gray, I am writing to share with you a wonderful opportunity that has been presented to me - an upcoming missions trip to Israel. This is an absolute dream for me. I have spent the last couple of years diving into my bible, reading about the life of Jesus and imagining what it must have been like to be there with Him. On June 16, 2023 I have the chance to actually see, touch, and be in places that I have only read about. I will get to visit sites such as Jesus' tomb, Simon Peter's house, Jacob’s well where Jesus ministered to the woman, and the Jordon River where we will take part in baptisms. These experiences are not only once-in-a-lifetime, but also spiritually transformative, as they will allow me to connect with the roots of my faith in a tangible way. This trip is not just a sightseeing tour, it's an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Christ in a place where His presence is palpable. We will be serving the local community and spreading the love of Jesus to those we meet. I am excited to have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of others, and to walk in the same places where Jesus walked. I can't do this alone. As you can imagine, a trip like this requires significant funding. I am reaching out to you, as someone who has been a support and encouragement to me in the past. I would like to ask if you would be willing to partner with me to make this mission a reality. I need ($5400) to make this possible. This money will go towards my flights, lodging, food, and transportation as well as additional costs from the sightsee portion of the trip.
