Hello my name is Madelyn Parra from Chula Vista San Diego. My Dad (Victor Parra) hiked his way to heaven Saturday afternoon, he passed away doing what he loved and he went peacefully. He was the most amazing Father and Husband, he was an extraordinary leader, boss, and Grand Knight of St. Rose. He taught us to lead by example , forgive and forget , to be selfless and giving with out expecting anything in return. He went above and beyond to do anything and everything for everyone.He was such a goofball and nerd and that’s how I’ll always remember his soul. Thank you Dad for everything, you raised us so well you’re not going to have to worry about us . We’re gonna get through this and take care of Mom. I love you forever Pops.Nana has her baby now ❤️We are #ParraStrongAugust 11, 1970- July 21, 2018 So many of you have asked what you can do to help, this came so unexpected for our entire family we really just need time to process and heal..together!! My mom only gets 3 days of paid bereavement leave and that is just not enough time for her or US! All four of us work but do not get paid time off. With your help we will be able to grieve, plan services, support each other, and figure out how to move forward after this horrible tragedy. The money being donated will be used for the funeral expenses and his parents nitch. We love you all and appreciate the outpouring of support!!
